No one bothered to tell us when we booked that the hotel would be undergoing complete renovation when we were staying there. It was a disaster area. We were also told parking was free, upon arrival they demanded a card to cover $*/day parking fees. They did eventually credit us for them but it took multiple times at the front desk to get it rectified. The room was sweltering. It ended up being quite warm when we went so we had the A/C on full blast yet still it was roasting hot in there. The good points were the staff was very nice and friendly. It is well located, easy walking distance to amenities in the downtown area.

07/22/2009I loved my stay- everyone was helpful. they have done some reno's and heard from staff more to come (they sounded excited for this)i recommend for all.

I must say i was rather less than impressed with staying at this hotel. I was treated as though i didnt matter, when checking in as well as checking out. The room was absolutely tiny, not worth $*** per night, the air didnt work at all and it was a hot night out, the windows didnt open, the bathroo mdoor hardly closed, i must say for the price this place was, i wouldnt stay here again. The only nice thing was the underground parking, other than that, not impressed at all.

My visit was enjoyable.I was pleasantly surprized. I had to dial up for Internet Access and had some difficulty. I finally figured out that one must dial 9 comma space and do not include the local. It finally worked. The front desk did not know how to assist me with this. Wireless was not an option for me. It was creating difficulty for myself as a business traveller.
